1) Weyrborn Candidates need not be Searched. Every other prospective Candidate must be. However, it is everyone's right to accept Search and stand.
2) Candidates must be in peak physical and mental health, or close enough to it. Problems with eyes and lungs are a disqualifying factor, while being overweight can be worked off.
3) Candidates are not to engage in physical fights outside of self-defense classes, and must avoid verbal altercations where possible.
4) Candidates are to conduct themselves with respect for themselves and others.
5) Candidates are not to drink to excess.
6) Candidates of either gender are not to visit the opposing side of the barracks after lights out.
7) Candidates are not to have sex in the barracks.
8) Candidates are to obey the orders of rankers, unless doing so would result in physical, mental, or emotional harm.
9) If there is a serious problem that rational conversation or mediation with a senior Candidate can't solve, the Candidatemasters are to be notified.
10) Stealing from the Weyr and its inhabitants is unacceptable, and is punishable by either being removed from Candidacy or sent back to the culprit's home hold. If you need or want something, it will be given to you, or you can barter.
On that note, Candidates cannot have a known criminal record.
